The bible tells us in Psalm 150:6 KJV that everything that has breath is to praise the Lord. Do you praise the Lord? Just in case you didn’t know, this is the last verse God gives us in the book of Psalm.

Psalm 150:6 KJV

Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Praise the Lord

In today’s society, people seem to be open about their gripes and complaints, but tend to be ‘shy’ when it comes to praising the Lord. Think about it – when was the last time you stood up in church to praise the Lord or held your hands high when a song or message moved you?

In the old days, women and men would shout, praising God as they ran through the aisles of the church. The congregation would shed tears of joy and would begin to join in the praising. Why is it now that it is nearly unheard of?

Sure, you may find men, women, boys and girls with their hands held high praising the Lord at concerts, but very seldom in a regular church service. I’m not going to tell you to stand up in church this Sunday and begin to run around with your hands waving wildly in the air as you shout ‘Praise the Lord’. That will be up to you.

But, what I am going to tell you to do is to push play on the video below, then hold your hands high as you close your eyes looking toward heaven as you sing along.

Let Everything That Hath Breath – Jeremy Camp

Let Everything That Hath Breath  Lyrics – Jeremy Camp

Let everything that, everything that,
Everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Let everything that, everything that,
Everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise You in the morning,
Praise You in the evening,
Praise You when I’m young and when I’m old.
Praise You when I’m laughing,
Praise You when I’m grieving,
Praise You every season of the soul.

If we could see how much You’re worth,
Your power, Your might, Your endless love,
Then surely we would never cease to praise.

Praise You in the heavens, joining with the angels,
Praising You forever and a day.
Praise You on the earth now, joining with creation,
Calling all the nations to Your praise.

If they could see how much You’re worth,
Your power, your might, your endless love,
Then surely they would never cease to praise
